With Lew's combined experience with bass fishing and manufacturing, they're able to make the Custom Speed Stick Casting Rod lightweight and sensitive without sacrificing durability. The blanks have multiple layers of HM60 graphite, running in multiple directions, using Lew's Power Core construction for super strength. Stainless steel guide frames share the same characteristics of the rods, being both durable and lightweight; titanium oxide inserts reduce line friction for long casts, and increased line life. An exclusive lightweight graphite skeletal reel seat holds the reel in place without marring it, and is corrosion free in both fresh and saltwater. Casting models feature a built in hook keeper on the trigger. Custom shaped high density EVA grips with Duracork reinforcement provide a non-slip hold in wet conditions. The Lew's Custom Speed Stick Casting Rod comes in technique specific actions as well as general-purpose rods for multiple techniques.
