Our large baby gate is equipped with one-hand operation. To open the gate, simply press the upper latch button with your thumb and lift the latch spindle out of the cup, then push or pull the gate open. This gate has no threshold to trip over and offers a swing control feature which allows you to select the direction that the gate will swing. When using at the top of the stairs, never allow the gate to swing over the stairs. This extra tall baby gate is JPMA certified.
